We now have to pay for plastic bags at the supermarket and I must admit I did not like this at first but like a lot of things in life I have got used to it.
The big benefit of course is that there are lot less plastic bags around the place and we are all benefitting.
@wokinghambc should spend some of the twice the rate of inflation council tax increase of 4.6% this year on wheelie bins.
Why are they still polluting our environment with plastic bags?
Also we would get rid of the other problem of magpies and foxes attacking the plastic bags. Every week I see rubbish strewn about the place.
